DDEAF is a publicly (non-governmental) funded, not-for-profit organization. Our principal source of income is the generosity of our members and supporters. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all your donations are tax-deductible.
All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. We are volunteer-staffed, so contributions are used to pay for outside services, including the printing of educational materials and postage, web hosting, transport and medical funding, and all the other expenses related to our mission to help deaf dogs live normal, happy lives. Please give as much as your heart and budget will allow and visit our Membership page to find out more about how you can give and receive at the same time.

Emergency Medical Support Fund | |

To be used (when funding is needed and other financial support is not available) to help offset "extraordinary" medical expenses incurred by the owners/fosters of newly-placed deaf dogs. Allocations of the fund require the approval of a majority of the DDEAF Board of Directors or such committee as the Board deems appropriate. Payments will not be distributed unless DDEAF receives of a copy of the veterinarian's bill and has previously agreed to help offset some or all of the expenses. |
Transportation Donation | |

To be used to help defray the costs of transporting a deaf dog to its new "forever" home. Allocations of the fund require the approval of a majority of the DDEAF Transport Committee. Payments will not be distributed unless DDEAF receives of a copy of the shipping bill(s) and has previously agreed to help offset some or all of the expenses. |

Those special friends, both hearing and deaf, to whom we have had to say good-bye far too soon. These cherished lives were, indeed, legends in the hearts of those who knew them. All donations to this fund will be put into the General Operating Fund and used in every possible way to fulfill the legacy of the those being remembered. They will also be featured in our newsletter as one last printed tribute to the love they shared with us and the lives they continue to touch. |
